CIO/CDO/CTO of the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and of the Polish National Oceanographic Data Centre. For over 30 years, he has combined scientific data management with the development of IT infrastructure and the delivery of national and international projects. His expertise includes integrating distributed resources, ensuring data quality and security, and implementing FAIR principles. In project management, he focuses on partner collaboration, translating user needs into technical solutions, and ensuring the long‑term sustainability of results. He co‑develops EOSC‑PL and represents Poland in the UNESCO/IOC‑IODE programme, supporting the advancement of standards and best practices in data management.
